POST PROGRAM CHAIRPERSONS
The chairmen as appointed by Commander but all help is welcome on the committees.
VA: Act as a liaison between the three organizations. Bring to the meetings any issues, concerns, joint events, etc. for consideration.
John Fern: Work with local coaches to determine our level of involvement. Promote our team and promote attendance at the games.
Charley Devenney: Includes scheduling the bloodmobile, posting notices at the Post and around town, coordinating the SAL and the Auxiliary, printing various materials.
John Fern: Work with local Boy Scout Troops and Cub Scout Packs in the area of support such as fundraisers. Determine the needs of the Scouts and see where we can assist.
George Paradise: Responsible for the next revision of the Post by-laws. Will draw up changes and present them to the membership for approval when appropriate.
Brian Boyd: Responsible for all computer related issues as well as the membership data base, label printing, new hardware and software acquisition, and maintaining updates to the Post web site.
Committee: Brian Boyd
Anthony Sperduto: In addition to the Finance Officer’s duties of supervising the receiving, disbursement and accounting of all Post funds, the committee will prepare annual budget recommendations for the Post and advise the Post on all financial matters.
Robert Allen: Responsible for recruiting a guard that can be organized on short notice in order to serve as pallbearers, riflemen, flag bearers, etc. to perform military ceremonies at funerals.
John Makal: Responsible for processing all membership renewals and transfers as well as new members.
Planning and Maintenance
Tom Reed: Assist our local Sheriff and Fire Departments. Build a bond between the Post and the departments. Look for outstanding service in the community and reward accordingly. Find a candidate for police officer of the year and/or firefighter of the year. Supply meals when needed.
Brian Boyd: Responsible for keeping the Post in the news in a positive manner. Will keep close contact with local press as well as the city government.
